Corporation Who We Are
LEW
Corporation is a full service environmental testing
and consulting company specializing in lead,
asbestos, radon, underground storage tanks, in-door
air, mold and phase I and phase II environmental
site assessments. Additionally, LEW Corporation is
one of the oldest and most experienced lead testing
companies in the metropolitan Northeast. LEW
Corporation began its environmental testing and
consulting operations in 1991 and has been
recognized as an industry leader in the
environmental field ever since.
LEW
Corporation has performed environmental testing,
consulting and remediation services ranging in size
from large government projects, and commercial
properties, to residential properties. We perform
every aspect of the environmental testing and
monitoring process, as well as offer a full range
of consulting and specification writing services.
As a leader in the environmental industry, we use
only state-of-the-art equipment, practices, and
procedures. All LEW CORP. environmental scientists
and technicians are fully trained and licensed by
the appropriate agencies for their respective
environmental discipline and follow all federal,
state, and local laws.
LEW
Corp.'s employees have been honored and privileged
to have the opportunity to share their experiences
and expertise with others; having been recognized
in publications such as The New York Times (June
1997), Good Housekeeping (Oct. 1996), Deleading,
and the "Lead Abatement and Contractors' Report."
We have been invited to speak about environmental
issues to the United States General Accounting
Office (GAO), CNBC News, numerous associations of
health officials, The Atlantic Builders Convention,
The Associated Builders & Owners of Greater New
York &endash; Emma Lazarus Award, the New Jersey
Real Estate Convention, The New Jersey Apartment
Association, Property Owners Association, NYC
Department of Health Conference LEAD PREVENT, the
Painters and Decorators Council of America (PDCA),
and numerous Boards of Realtors, architects and
school associations located throughout the
Northeast. We have participated in making
instructional videos for the New Jersey Real-estate
Association and Seagull Training pertaining to
environmental concerns. LEW Corp.'s employees have
also been active participants in the Lead and
Environmental Hazards Association, LEAH (Formerly
NLAAC) the oldest trade association in the lead
industry, as well as the Environmental Information
Association. Lee Wasserman, president of LEW CORP.,
is a past president of the LEHA and was the
founding president of the Northeast Regional
Chapter. Several of LEW CORP. employees are
instructors for many of the environmental
disciplines we offer, inclusive of lead, mold and
asbestos training programs and teach at various
training facilities throughout the
Northeast.
LEW
Corporation is continually working at remaining a
leader in the environmental inspection,consulting
and remediation industry. We are constantly
incorporating new products and new practices and
procedures for remediation or controlling
environmental hazards. By remaining an industry
leader and applying state-of-the-art procedures and
philosophies, we are better able to assist our
clients, consequently, saving them time and
money.
